Back Home, lyrics by Reuben Kee.

There’s a place that you will always know
It is where your heart knows it’s home
And if you need to run from trouble or despair
It is where to go
Run back home

I went faraway to see the world alone
To places in my dreams
But the best dreams came when I was dreaming them at home

Every bird sees the sky as its home
To just fly and be free is a joy
Each night I have dreamt of being free to fly
But I’ve always known
The sky is not home

I went far away to see the world alone
To places in my dreams
But the best dream came
When I was dreaming them at home
The best dreams came
When I was dreaming them at home
Back Home

They were taking part in a dragon boat race in Cambodia.

The Singapore team was making its way back to the starting point, after the race, when the tragedy occurred. They were all young and very fit but after the race was over, they were too tired and the current was too strong .

The missing racers are: Jeremy Goh, 24; Stephen Low, 31; Reuben Kee, 23; Poh Boon San, 27 and Chee Wei Cheng, 20.

They were all young bright stars of Singapore and in their prime of life .

Our condolences and heartfelt sympathies to their families in this unfortunate and fatal incident in Cambodia.

May their souls rest in peace. May God’s healing and grace be upon their love ones in this most difficult moments .Our thoughts and prayers for them.

They will always live in our lives…

Always be remembered till eternity.

Always be remembered till eternity.

As hope turned to grief, a mother’s unforgettable and heartbreaking moments of truth and the resulting deep despair and grief .No words can comfort them in this hour of darkness.

Their sudden departure has left a big void in their parent’s life and in their world and will never be replaced. It was a freak incident and no one foresaw it.

We can only silently offer them our thoughts and prayers. Fate has been most unkind to them. We have to accept our destiny and to go on with life.
