Hello world!
Today’s Verse from the New Living Translation |
Instead, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. Then at the resurrection of the righteous, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you.Luke 14:13–14 view in context |
Encouragement for Today |
What might it mean for you to “invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind” into your life? Do you tend to socialize only with those who are like you, who can pay you back in some way? Do you even know any “downtrodden” people? These are challenging questions for some of us! In addition to exhorting us to reach out to the unlovely, these verses also teach us to have an eternal perspective on all we do. When we live for eternity, the now shrinks into true perspective. When we please God rather than other people, we also gain a true perspective. From todayschristianwoman.com |

We should treat all alike and do more good to those who are in need or the unfortunate .We do everything without any strings attached or expecting anything in returns.
