Call it the power of love or a miracle from God or whatever you wish ,three-year-old Lily Slater who had a cancerous tumour at the base of her brain removed is now recovered and had her cancer in remission.

She was healed by the successful 8 hours surgical operations and the heaps of love from her twin sister who kept this three year old bubbly and happy . She was too young to fathom what life is all about and why she was sick. She carried on with her life like normal and this speeded up her recovery from this deadly disease.

She is only three , being afflicted with the deadly cancer disease and this is a nightmare to every parents .We can only feel for her parents,Shirley Lydon and Glyn Slater. We thank God for saving your precious little child and may she grow up to be a wonderful person.

Her twin sister, Willow was by her side all the time making her life more meaningful and helping her to recover from the cancer. It could have been God’s healing powers flowing through Willow.

She started being sick in the mornings and began to lose her balance. She had a MRI at South Tyneside General Hospital which revealed a tumour at the base of her brain and it was found to be cancerous.

The family were helped by the Rainbow Trust children’s charity, which provides support for families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness.
