Internet Anonymity,Defamations & Libel Suits.
The internet is just like any medium of disseminating news . You are responsible for what you write. There is no cloak of anonymity where you can scathingly attack anyone in the internet .
Any libelous postings in anywhere in the internet be it in your own weblog, forums or chatrooms does not protect you from being sued.
If you do not get sued after posting , it does not mean that they will not sue you . It is a matter of timing. When you find that nothing happens , you become more braver and daring and spill more libelous contents on the internet .
One day will come like the three footballers in UK , who are now exposed by a court order and will face expensive law suits. You may have to go to jail or being fined or both .
Is it worth it?
