Acrylamide – The Chemical In Your Food.
When you cook your food, the chemical acrylamide will be released or produced.This chemical produced by frying, roasting or grilling food can double the risk of cancer in women, a new study has revealed.
I have heard that when you heat the wok or pan very hot and then stir fry your vegetables or meat can produce carcinogens or cancer causing chemicals. If you consume in a long run, you run the higher risk of getting cancer. It has now been substantiated by this new study.
We should cut down on frying, roasting or grilling food. It is not possible to avoid this chemical completely. Recently another new study have revealed about process meat like ham , bacon, salami , burger meat or hot dogs as bad for health because they contained too many chemicals and can cause cancer .
Research has shown that acrylamide is found in cooked foods such as bread, breakfast, cereals, coffee and also meat and potatoes which have been fried, baked, roasted, grilled or barbecued.
Avoid eating burnt toast or golden brown chips because they contain higher levels of the substance. Those foods which has been over burnt or over cooked should also not be eaten.
Have more home cooked meals often than eating out because they contain less amounts of the chemical than processed products, fast food and restaurant meals.
Everything we like to eat is cancer causing and what are we suppose to eat? Eat all raw and don’t cook them..LOL!
If we cannot fry, bake, BBQ, roast and grill, then we will have to steam and boil all our food or eat them raw.We better go back and live in the stone age.. LOL!
