Money Has No Friends But Only Enemies.
Three great friends went to play bingo in a club. Whatever was agreed upon , no one is certain , but when one of them won £101,211 prize, she refused to share with the other two and these two losers took her to court .
After 3 years , the judge finally said she can keep her winnings. She spend all her winnings and even if she lose the court case, she won’t have the money to share with them.
What is the moral of the story?
What is agreed upon orally does not hold up in court even when you have two witnesses against one. Do you think this is a fair decision by the judge? I think it is a right decision.
There is an element of doubt as to whether the winner did agree with her two best friends. They did not sign any black and white agreement stating that they would share equally if they win. Without this proof, it is very hard to make the case stick.
All went through the stress and wasted time and mental torture and in the end , nothing was changed. The lawyers were the winners and the losers were the public funds .
For money , the children will sue each other or their parents .There is no honour when it comes to money. The love of money is the root of all evils.
